I specialize in solving both routine and complex US visa matters. I enjoy the challenge of helping clients navigate an area of law that is extremely complex and constantly changing.

Practicing immigration law is more than a career – it is my calling. I thrive on helping people and businesses find solutions to immigration challenges.

Being fully aware that the practice of law often requires a more nimble and creative approach, I see my job as an art – not a science. It involves tactical judgment calls, nuanced reasoning, and other artistic skills. A lawyer who cannot envision the big picture, or who sees only the traditional black and white issues, doesn’t provide as much value as one whose approach is more visionary.

Prior to establishing my practice in London in 2014, I practiced US immigration law for more than 6 years in New York, Boston, and Chicago. Through this diverse experience, I gained thorough exposure to a wide range of companies in a number of industries. Possessing a nuanced understanding of your industry and business operations is crucial for my ability to craft compelling arguments. This is what the success of your case ultimately hinges on.

When analyzing your situation I know what questions to ask and what evidence to review in order to determine whether your case may pose problems. Having handled many cases, I can recognize many of the potential pitfalls in cases that at first seem “easy”. If my analysis shows that your case is relatively straightforward, you will get peace of mind and advice about how to increase the odds of approval. If the analysis shows that the case is more complex, I can propose realistic strategies to overcome the problematic issues.

I don’t blindly follow the government agencies’ legal interpretations and procedural instructions. When appropriate, my job may be to challenge the government’s position when that is in my clients’ interests.

A firm believer in a proactive approach, I strive to anticipate the adjudicator’s potential concerns and to resolve them in advance. This is a winning strategy for meeting the burden of proof and avoiding lengthy delays.

Abraham Lincoln once said, “Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe”. I believe the same applies to every legal challenge. That is why I never take action without preparation and an intelligent strategy.

I treat every case like it is my only case.  Focusing intensely on a limited number of cases allows me to doggedly pursue excellence. If you put your trust in me to represent you, I will do my best to reward that trust with honesty, responsiveness, and results.
